![]() Long Swords: Skald's Song, Hymir's Finger, Demonbane, Caim's Sword Swords: Ravenfeeder, Butcher's Joy, Swordsmasher These are the ones that I used enough to get to level 4 so if you see them, give them a try. There's a lot of weapons I haven't leveled because if you want ending E, you need to collect all 65 weapons, and towards the end it's just a matter of collecting the ones you don't have yet, so I didn't spend any time using those. I'm looking through my own save file of Drakengard 1 to see which weapons I used the most. ![]() What do you all think? What are the best weapons that stay relevant throughout the entire game? Like, if there's 1 weapon that dominates above all others for general combat, but another has a very useful magic ability that covers a weakness of that first weapon, then that'd be at least 2 relevant "best" weapons. I don't need to carry 10 weapons around if I'm only going to be ever using a few. Of course, magic can heavily affect how useful a weapon actually is.Įven though Caim can equip 10 weapons, I kinda doubt there would be 10 weapons in the game that are all relevant when compared to one another, but I could be wrong. Keep in mind, if there are 2 weapons that are almost identical, but 1 has a higher attack power, then that other one is no longer what I'd consider a "best" weapon, since it would no longer really be relevant compared to the second option. ![]() I've already got a few weapons which I believe are pretty good in the context of the game, but I'd like to hear from the community what the best options are considered to be. From the research I've done, there have been a few weapons that come up as being better than most, but the difficulty with some of these guides is that sometimes they talk about how good a weapon is, though it eventually gets out-shined by another that you get later in the game that is basically superior in every way. I'm doing a playthrough of the first Drakengard (almost finished ending A), and plan to get at least a few of the endings.
